As much as cosmetic procedures are about comparing the previous you to the new you, before and after pictures are a controversial topic. At TAI we do not post patients' before and after pictures on our website or any of our social media for several reasons.
First and foremost your privacy is our second highest priority with your safety being our first. When other providers hide defining features (stickers/logos) it might seem that your privacy is protected. However, the fact that YOU know that sensitive parts of YOUR body are on the internet (whether or not consent was obtained) is unsettling to us.
Secondly, cosmetic procedures are personalized to you. Every patient is different and everyone heals differently. Some people have amazing results, and some people unfortunately have complications. No aesthetic provider puts their complication pictures online. Therefore when you visit the website or social media of another aesthetic provider you are seeing an unrealistic palette of that surgeon's work.
Absolutely! During your entire preoperative, operative, and post operative course Dr. P will take pictures that go directly to your secure chart. Progress pictures are important to document your postoperative course.
Yes! At any point during your course you may request your pictures. We would be happy to email or text you your pictures.
Of course! Your pictures are yours. We WANT you to be happy and proud of your new body. Feel free to post your pictures and progress! Be sure to tag @tai_aestheticinstitute.
